With a glorious career spanning over 30 years, Prof. Dr. Md. Ehteshamul Hoque is one of the most prominent figures in Bangladesh’s Oncology community. Renowned for his compassionate patient care and academic leadership, he specializes in comprehensive cancer management, ranging from advanced Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy to Palliative Care.
Currently, he is serving as a Senior Consultant at Labaid Cancer Hospital & Super Speciality Center. Previously, he held the position of Director and Head of the Department at Anwer Khan Modern Medical College Hospital.

Early Career: Started as a Medical Officer in Rangamati (1991) and later served as a Resident Surgeon at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
Academic Leadership: Served as Assistant Professor at the National Institute of Cancer Research & Hospital (NICRH) in 2007.
Institutional Growth: Played a pivotal role as the Head of Department (Oncology) and later as Director (Admin) at Anwer Khan Modern Medical College Hospital (2015–2021).
Consultancy: Extended his expertise as a Consultant at prestigious institutions like United Hospital Ltd. and Ahsania Mission Cancer Hospital.
